About Me

The first thing you should know about me is I am mad.

Quite mad.

Insanely mad, if you were to go that far.

About books, that is.

I love books. Well..actually, yes, I love books. Cannot think of a better work..well, maybe obsessed to a degree.

Small degree.

Tiny, really..

Second thing.

I wish I was British.

Why, you ask?

For the language! History! Accents!!

Most of all..

The slaaaaang.

Honestly, no other country has such unique and interesting slang, as the UK.

I could go on about the slang all day, but that would get boring.

For you, really.

I can hear you ask, why start a book blog?

Well, aside from my deep love of reading, I wanted a way to connect to other book lovers.

Yes, there are book clubs, but those aren’t for me. So to blog I go!

The difference between my blog and many others, is I don’t just focus on new and interesting books. I review older ones as well!

Haven’t you ever found an old, old book, but no one’s read it, let alone reviewed it?!

I have. Quite frequently.

And it’s a shame, when you think about it. So many new worlds, so few people who’ve enjoyed them.

There, in a nutshell, is me.

Now, about the blog..

As I stated before, I intend to review all books; old, new, wildly popular and hardly known.

There’s no real rhyme or reason to it, just a girl sharing her thoughts with the world.

As I go about this, I hope to expand into having author interviews, giveaways and the like.

Maybe even put up some of my own jewellery inspired by some of my favourites books..

You never know..😜

  • I think you should read Tregaron’s Daughter by Madeline Brent, an oldy but a goody! Another couple that I would recommend is Ammie Come Home Barbara Michels and A Green Darkness by Anya Seton, just noted that Ammie Come Home has been reviewed on Good Reads!
